Edmund Morris papers, 1952-1967.

The Edmund Morris papers contain television, motion picture, and stage scripts, outlines, and stories written by Morris from 1952-1967. The collection includes scripts from the television shows "Rocky King, Detective," "Lawman," and "Sugarfoot;" motion pictures "Experiment in Crime" and "Project X;" and stage productions "End of Innocence" and "Dear Murderer," as well as other Morris works. The collection also contains ephemera relating to the broadway production "The Wooden Dish."

Edmund Morris was an actor, playwright, and screenwriter who was born in Ukraine in 1912. Some of his notable writing credits included the Broadway play "Wooden Dish," and screenplays "Walk on the Wild Side," "Savage Guns," and "Project X." Morris passed away on January 18, 1998.
